Whole Foods Market to anchor Fern Marketplace

Read King Commercial Real Estate has announced plans for a 30 acre master planned high-end retail development at the intersection of 70th and Fern Avenue. The 36,150 square foot Whole Foods Market will anchor the first phase of the development, which is scheduled to open in early 2015. In addition to Whole Foods Market, the first phase will include another 39,250 square feet of high-end retail and restaurants.

Groundbreaking for North Houston’s First Whole Foods Market

Read King Commercial Real Estate held a Groundbreaking Celebration for the First North Houston Whole Foods Market to be located in Vintage Marketplace at the Southeast corner of Louetta and Cutten Roads. The 40,443 square foot Whole Foods Market is anchoring the first phase of the 18 acre retail development. Read King, a leading full-service commercial real estate firm, was founded more than 20 years ago by Jeff Read and Ewing King.

Houston developer Frank Liu has purchased the former Finger Furniture

Houston developer Frank Liu has purchased the former Finger Furniture property on 16 acres at the Gulf Freeway and Cullen Boulevard. Tony Patronella with Read King represented Liu in the purchase, as well as the sale by Liu of another East End tract adjacent to Austin High School. Houston Independent School District purchased 8.9 acres at Ernestine and Lockwood for the expansion of the campus. Katherine Wildman with Wulfe & Co. represented the seller of the Finger Furniture Property, Amegy Bank.

Kings Crossing Partners has purchased 51 acres

Kings Crossing Partners has purchased 51 acres along Sorters Road just west of U.S. 59 in Montgomery County. M&J Consulting represented the buyer. Tony Patronella and Christie Amezquita with Read King represented the seller, EHD Developers.

Flavor Berry Leases Space at Crossroads Park

Flavor Berry has leased 1,225 square feet in Crossroads Park office/retail building at U.S. 290 and FM 1960. Richard P. Miranda of KW Commercial represented the tenant. Christie Amezquita of Read King represented the landlord.
